The word chakra (pronounced Shakrah) means “spinning wheel of light”. The chakras – or “energy centers” – regulate your body’s energy intake and distribution. To remain healthy, your chakras need to be maintained, or balanced, on a regular basis.
Negative thoughts and emotional upset due to trauma, abuse, neglect, loss, fear, anxiety, conflict and stress can create blockages and obstruct the flow of energy to and from the chakras. The Root Chakra, for example, is located at the base of the spine. It’s related to survival instincts, self-preservation, and your connection to your physical body. If the chakra is spinning, or “activated”, you feel grounded, stable, and secure. If there is a blockage in this chakra you might easily feel unwelcome, become obsessed with your own security, and you may resist change. This could also manifest in the physical body causing pain and dysfunction in the legs or feet, signifying a sense of helplessness to move forward in your life. The wellbeing of your glands, organs, bones, muscles, and especially your state of mind are all linked to the chakras
Healing and wellness truly begins when the chakras are “aligned” and in balance. Once this is done everything in your life begins to flow in a positive and productive manner. You feel more empowered, grateful, and inspired. You’re more at peace with yourself and everything around you. You start to feel whole again. You have the ability to take control, to deal with life’s challenges and turn things around. You gain clarity and insight, and discover that you can manifest all that you truly desire.
Reiki is a powerful modality that boosts the natural healing process as the practitioner focuses the flow of energy throughout the client’s physical and energetic bodies. During a Reiki treatment the practitioner places their hands on or slightly over the body. As a distance therapy, the Reiki energies are “Channelled” to the client. Reiki gives one the ability to easily access the Reiki (Universal Life Force) energy for the purpose of healing a person or situation. During a Reiki session either via distance or hands on, the client may experience different sensations, such as tingling, warmth or cold. Some clients experience “phantom hands” this is when guides or spirit helpers are working on different areas of the body whilst the practitioner is at working on a different area.
Hypnotherapy is a complementary modality and powerful tool in which the client experiences an altered state of consciousness for the purpose of initiating positive change in their life. In a hypnotherapy session the client is always in control – they cannot be “made” to do anything against their own will. In fact, it’s quite the opposite – it’s all about becoming self-empowered!
It is generally accepted that all hypnosis is ultimately self-hypnosis. The Hypnotherapist merely helps to facilitate the experience. During a session the client will experience a sense of deep relaxation – not sleep, where they are better able to focus on appropriate suggestions made by the therapist. While it does involve the induction of a trance-like state, the client is actually in an enhanced state of awareness in which the conscious mind is suppressed and the subconscious mind is revealed. In this way negative self-talk can be replaced with positive suggestions, giving the client stronger foundations to build upon to make the changes they desire to enhance their life.
HypnoChaKi ® is a blend of all three modalities bringing healing on all levels, mind, body and spirit. Thoughts are energy. Your body is a manifestation of the thoughts of your sub-conscious mind. By combining Hypnosis, Reiki and Chakra Balancing, these three powerful methods of healing provide an even more effective treatment for anxiety, stress and pain. If you are suffering, you can give yourself permission to let go of the pain. As old emotions come to the surface for release, the energy is recycled, the chakras start flowing in harmony, and positive change can finally take effect!
The name HypnoChaKi ® was thought up by my mentor and friend after I told her about combining the three modalities.
