Finding Healing Through Compassionate Inquiry & Tarot Psychotherapy: A Journey from Struggle to Transformation

Who am I?
I am a certified somatic practitioner and trained in Compassionate Inquiry and Tarot psychotherapy. I have over a decade of experience in holistic healing. I hold certifications in Somatic Experiencing, Compassionate Inquiry (under Dr. Gabor Maté), and Tarot for Therapeutic Integration.
My expertise lies in helping individuals uncover and release emotional blockages, reconnect with their body, and access their inner wisdom through a blend of somatic practices, compassionate dialogue, and tarot symbolism. I have facilitated workshops and one-on-one sessions internationally, empowering clients to heal from trauma, anxiety, and self-limiting beliefs.

Many of us carry emotional burdens that feel insurmountable. We may find ourselves stuck in patterns of anxiety, hopelessness, or disconnection, unable to understand why we feel the way we do. These struggles often stem from childhood experiences and deeply ingrained belief systems that shape our lives in ways we may not even realise. The good news is that there is a path to healing—one that combines the gentle, trauma-informed approach of Compassionate Inquiry (CI) with the reflective power of Tarot Psychotherapy. This unique blend, offered by Katrina Clark, a Certified Somatic Practitioner trained in Compassionate Inquiry (Dr. Gabor Mate) and Tarot Psychotherapist, can help individuals uncover and heal the root causes of their emotional pain.
Here’s how this process can help:
1. Compassionate Inquiry
This trauma-informed approach gently guides individuals to uncover the underlying emotions, beliefs, and somatic (body-based) experiences that contribute to their struggles. By exploring these inner dynamics with curiosity and self-compassion, individuals can begin to release deeply held emotional patterns and beliefs.
2. Tarot Psychotherapy
Tarot cards are used as a reflective tool to access the subconscious mind. The imagery, archetypes, and messages in the cards serve as mirrors, offering symbolic guidance and clarity. This can be particularly helpful for those who feel numb or stuck, as it provides a way to connect with their emotions and gain insights into their current challenges.
What to Expect Following a Session
A sense of clarity and self-awareness. They may feel more connected to their emotions, their body, and their inner wisdom. The release of emotional blockages and somatic tensions can lead to a greater sense of empowerment and self-compassion.
