This weekend brought some amazing news from the Kent County Relay Competition, where the RTW Monson Girls 16 and Under team completely stole the show!

In the Medley Relay, the team entered with a time of 2m 04s and smashed their personal best (PB) by a whopping 6 seconds.

The second-place team?

A full 7 seconds behind!

In the Freestyle Relay, the girls bettered their PB by 2 seconds, finishing an impressive 5 seconds ahead of their competition.

But it doesn’t stop there. These talented young athletes not only dominated their age group but also took home the open category trophy for both events. That makes them the fastest girls team of the day across all age groups!

What an achievement!

For Reese, it was a day to remember. As the 3rd swimmer in both relays, she hit PBs in both of her splits. She clocked an impressive 27 seconds in the 50m Freestyle (previously 29 seconds) and achieved a low 29 in her 50m Fly split. Her day was filled with smiles, supported by her Monson family, and capped off with two gold medals and an open trophy to add to the cabinet.

Reese’s hard work has also earned her a spot on the A team for the upcoming Arena League in Tunbridge Wells on 12th October. The very next day, she’ll be back in the water competing in the 800m Club Championships. It’s all systems go, and we can’t wait to see what she achieves next!

Stay tuned for more updates – it’s bound to be an exciting season for Reese & her team!

Keep pushing, Reese!

Your dedication and hard work are taking you to new heights-believe in your power & keep swimming strong!
