Her performances at the Kents and NUEL meets highlight her potential as she aims to qualify for the British and English Nationals. Let’s take a closer look at Reese’s journey and her exciting plans for the upcoming Regionals and Nationals.

The final weekend of the Kents swim meet was an unforgettable one, marking the end of a thrilling chapter. Reese wrapped up the competition with a stellar performance, securing a bronze medal in the 100m butterfly. Her impressive showing didn’t stop there – she made it to many finals, demonstrating her exceptional talent and dedication. The Kents meet fell within the National Qualifying window, which closes on May 12th. Reese is determined to make the most of this time, racing in as many events as possible in hopes of qualifying for the British and English Nationals. These prestigious events are set to take place in Sheffield at the end of July and beginning of August.

Reese also participated in the NUEL meet, held at the world-renowned London Aquatic Centre. This opportunity allowed her to compete in her favourite races, aiming to secure spots in Nationals. The excitement was palpable, and Reese gave it her all in each event. The next major event on Reese’s schedule is Regionals, running from May 3rd to 6th. She’s entered eight races, focusing on distance events instead of individual medleys. By carefully planning her race schedule, Reese aims to balance her workload and allow for ample recovery time over the four days of racing. With finals in most events, Reese is hopeful for strong performances.

As the season progresses, Reese faces high-intensity training sessions in both 25m and 50m pools. Her hard work and determination are evident, and she continues to receive full support and encouragement from her team and supporters. Stay tuned for the next update, where we’ll reveal how Reese fared at Regionals and which events she qualified for at Nationals.
