Highlights From The Last Three Weeks

The past few weeks have been nothing short of extraordinary for Reese, who competed in her Club Championships, delivering impressive performances across the board. Here are some standout moments:

  • 1500m Freestyle: Reese slashed a remarkable 16 seconds off her personal best, securing 2nd place among the club’s girls. In a nail-biting finish, she missed out on 1st place by a mere 0.013 seconds—a bittersweet yet phenomenal achievement!
  • 400m Freestyle: She shaved another 6 seconds off her PB, showcasing her relentless pursuit of improvement.
  • Personal Growth: Reese achieved 11 personal bests across 13 races—a testament to her consistency and determination.

The Club Championships were a whirlwind of excitement, camaraderie, and achievement, reflecting the incredible team spirit within Reese’s club.

Looking Ahead

Reese is eager to take the next step in her swimming journey by starting a teaching course when she turns 16 next year. As part of the preparation, she’s getting ready to volunteer with younger squad members under the guidance of her coach, demonstrating her enthusiasm and commitment to giving back to the swimming community—an exciting opportunity that reflects her potential as both an athlete and a future mentor.
