There is no other organ quite like the uterus. If men had such an organ they would brag about it. So should we

Mizan (pronounced like Milan) is an Arabic word that means balance. Mizan Therapy uses traditional techniques to restore balance when life feels unbalanced – physically, emotionally or spiritually.
Mizan benefits your physical health, restoring circulation and lymphatic drainage by relieving congestion and blockages. It can ease muscles and fascia tightened by tension and emotion. The techniques are commonly used in India and further east for optimising women’s health. In her normal position the uterus leans slightly over the bladder in the centre of the pelvis. She is held in position by muscles, the vaginal wall and ligaments that attach her to the pelvis. The ligaments and muscles can weaken and loosen, causing the uterus to fall downward, forward, backward, to either side or a combination of these. It is also possible for the uterus to double over either forwards or backwards.
A womb with any of these problems is tilted or prolapsed. Modern medicine has little or nothing to offer women with this problem other than hormonal birth control pill, IUD, muscle relaxants or surgery and women are generally told such things as, “Your uterus is tilted but that is normal, don’t worry about it”. Yet women have a list of physical and emotional symptoms than can be addressed and prevented with these simple and enjoyable techniques.
A tilted womb can prevent the normal flow of blood and lymph, disrupt nerve connections and prevent the flow of qi, or energy, causing havoc for the different systems of circulatory flow through the body. By encouraging the womb back into place, homeostasis – the natural balance of the body – is restored. When the womb is back in her rightful place, toxins can be flushed from the body and nutrients that help to tone tissue and balance hormones are restored. This is essential for healthy reproductive functioning, such as painless menstrual bleeding, healthy pregnancy, effective labour and birth and a speedy post natal recovery.
Old adhesions from surgery to the pelvic and abdominal area, including laparoscopy, caesarean section and hysterectomy as well as fibroids and endometriosis can be resolved by womb massage.
Because of the close proximity of the urinary and digestive systems, abdominal massage can also help with digestive, urinary and bladder problems.
