Reese Makes Nationals with a Stellar Line-up!
We are thrilled to share some fantastic updates on Reese’s swimming journey. Reese has achieved her goal and qualified for the Nationals, securing spots in the exact events she was aiming for.
Last year, Reese made a splash with her performance in the 100m Fly at the British Nationals and the 200m Fly at the English Nationals. This year, she has surpassed her previous accomplishments by qualifying for a broader range of events. At the British Nationals, she will compete in the 50m, 100m, and 200m Fly. Additionally, she has qualified for the 1500m and 800m Freestyle, and the 200m Backstroke at the English Nationals.
Reese is particularly excited to have all three Fly events on her schedule at the British Nationals. Her hard work and dedication have paid off, and she is eagerly preparing for the upcoming competition, which will take place from July 22nd to August 2nd in Sheffield. The next three months will be filled with intense training to ensure she is race-fit and ready to perform at her best.
In another exciting development, Reese has been selected to join the girls’ RTW Monson team for the 4 x 200m Freestyle relay event. This will be her first time competing in a team relay at this level, and she is looking forward to the experience.
Adding to her impressive list of challenges, Reese has also decided to compete in the 2000m Regional Open Water event on June 30th. This will be her debut in open water swimming, and she is enthusiastic about taking on this new challenge.
