Pockets of Happiness

In order to live a fulfilled life, we need to understand what will fulfill us! It sounds simple but it does take some time and thought to consider what really makes us happy. All of these exercises are ways to get the clarity of what type of life we want to live.
Making conscious decisions instead of just going with whatever is thrown at us.
I regularly redo my exercises because it stops me from just being swept up with outside influences and affords me the opportunity to make tweaks and shift my day to day existence.
I’m a big believer in making our individual lives suit our individual needs. If however we don’t know what that looks like, how can we make this possible?
The first simplest way is to look at what makes us happy! This could be a moment or a person or something you watch. By considering all of the senses and working out what actually makes you happy, means that you can have these elements in your life as much as possible.
I’m a huge fan of putting pen to paper, having fun with colouring in or even getting more creative with the idea. Start by taking a breath and recognising this time you have created for yourself and draw a metaphorical pocket! Then fill it with everything that makes you happy and makes your heart sing.
Go crazy!
Pockets are so useful for carrying things around, like things that make you happy. Write or draw inside the pocket what you would carry around that makes you happy. Don’t worry about if it could actually fit, just put in what actually makes you happy.
