On my Feminine Awakening journey, it has come in to my awareness, as I work layer by layer through my body that there was an ancient time on Earth where women were sacred and where there was a deeper connection to feminine rituals and spiritual practices. This was also an ancient time where Mother Earth was honoured and women’s bodies and the feminine rhythms of life was viewed as a natural part of life.

Womb practices and other powerful spiritual practices were respected and contributed to the wellbeing of communities. They may have led simple lives but lived in relative peace and contentment though it goes without saying they had other challenges to contend with at the time. However, the community support would have created a sense of safety around childbirth, fertility and menstruation also as a natural initiation into womanhood. These were honoured as sacred aspects of the organic feminine.
There was also a deeper connection to the seasons, the rhythms of nature and the cosmos and of us and our lives as extensions of this.
We only have to look around Ireland to see evidence of this in various sites for example Síle na Gig, Newgrange and many others dotted around the country.
It is imprinted into our land and into the ancient celebrations like Bealtaine in May and the stories passed on via our ancestors. Many sites as well as rituals around the world also bear witness to this reverence for the feminine for example the carvings in many caves in Europe and the pyramids of Egypt to name but a few. We carry remembrances of these times embedded in our DNA.
However, with the onset of patriarchy, this changed and violence and the suppression of the feminine led to a lot of trauma and suffering. There was a rejection of the ancient feminine reproductive and spiritual practices. Women’s sexuality was also feared and regarded as evil leading to shame and guilt and distortion. Then there were the witch hunts of the Middle Ages and the persecution and violent killing of many medicine women and any women who worked as healers or even gathered together in sacred community. Most of us have deep scars as a result of this persecution.
How This Affected Our Ancestors
Our ancestors would have been victims of this disempowerment, living their lives in fear where they felt unsafe in childbirth and in the absence of this community support, the deep imprint of un safety was passed on. As we are all birthed from the wombs of a women, both women and men have deep unconscious imprints of this trauma as well as a deep disconnection from their bodies, sexual expression and sacred womb power. The result was to retreat into the mind out of the body for safety leaving us disconnected from the Earth and from the wisdom of our bodies.

We disconnected from our sovereignty as expressions of the divine and from the power, courage and wisdom of our most ancient ancestors. The time has come for us to reclaim this sacred power.
How Womb Awakening Can Help
Womb Awakening and Healing is a journey through the body to unblock the deep unconscious layers that are suppressed as a result of this trauma. We work with high frequency Light, breath and the power of intention to allow you to unblock these suppressed emotions of fear, shame or anger from the deep cells of the body. In doing so we reactivate the feminine centres of the body leading to a deeper connection to the sacred Womb or Hara in men. As we heal and transform our wounds, we are then ready to work with ancestral healing practices to free our ancestors from the pain and suffering they had to endure. This also frees our descendants as we break patterns in our generational lines that may have dogged our ancestors for thousands of years.

So each time we step up and find the courage to feel these wounds from our wombs and transmute them, we not only help ourselves but send a wave of hope to our ancestors and break the cycle of trauma for the generations coming after us.
