Therapeutic Sound

So, the frequency ranges go from Gamma at your highest level of cognition, to Beta with input from all of your senses and busy mind. Slowing down to Alpha’s frequencies  where you can relax, chill and unwind, then downward further to Theta’s frequency level of rest, daydreaming, meditation and REM dreams, and then all the way down to Deltas deep, dreamless, restorative sleep.

By simply listening to specific tones in the right frequency ranges, brain fog, forgetfulness and mild cognitive impairment can be replaced with heightened cognition, clarity of thought and better memory. Stress and a busy mind can be replaced with inner calm and deep relaxation. Insomnia or fitful sleep can be replaced with restful slumber!

By listening to pure tones or binaural beats at a specific frequency of cycles per second, your brain waves will synchronize themselves to match what they hear. The scientific principle behind this is called the Frequency-Following Response, which is also referred to as entrainment. Don’t worry, because Frequency Following Response is not brainwashing or hypnosis. Therapeutic Sound is exercise and training for your brain!

Scientists and university researchers have found that maximum cognitive abilities, memory recall and problem solving are achieved when your brain waves are cycling in the Gamma range of frequencies of 30 to 100 cycles per second. So, by listening to tones within that frequency range, your brain will “retune itself to the same wavelengths.”1 Listening to tones within that frequency range for at least 30 minutes, twice daily over a period of 6 weeks can retrain your brain to improve memory, think more clearly and improve problem solving.

When listening to tones that create binaural beats2 within the Alpha frequency range of 13 and 8, your brain will retune itself from Gamma’s highest levels of cognition and Beta’s busy mind, down to a level of deep conscious relaxation where you can de-stress, chill out and unwind.

Hearing the tones that create Theta’s frequency range of between 7 and 4 will guide you to a restful, meditative semi-conscious state where you may daydream or slip off into rapid eye movement REM dreaming.

The tones that create binaural beats in the Delta frequency range of 3.5 to 0.5 cycles per second will entrain your brain to the wavelengths that induce deepest dreamless and unconscious restorative sleep.

OK, so how can you access and benefit from all of the therapeutic tones and binaural beats to retune your brain for better memory and maximum cognition, plus relaxation, de-stressing, rest, and deep restorative sleep?

I am Stephan LaCount, Therapeutic Sound Practitioner. I’ve created an extensive audio library with over 30 full length and extended play tracks that you can access RIGHT NOW by donation in the currency and amount of your choice. You can download them all, or stream them and enjoy them forever.

The Audio Brain Food Library has more than 20 hours of audio recordings, and you really can have it your way. If you’re a purist, you can listen to the pure tones or binaural beats. Or, as an option, and for your listening pleasure – I’ve blended them with some amazing long play and extended play mixes from guitarist extraordinaire, Mark Barnwell.

I’ve also created tracks blending the therapeutic tones and binaural beats with a variety of soothing nature sounds including waves, forest, stream, and babbling brook.

Listen and enjoy with your headphones or stereo speakers, where and when you want and retune your brain with my Audio Brain Food library.

Use the secure donation form on the AudioBrainFood.com website, or go to Donorbox.org/audio-brain-food-library to own the library now and retune your brain.

Disclaimer:  Binaural beats cause entrainment!  That means they retune or synchronize your brain waves to the frequency range listened to.  When listening to binaural beats within the Alpha, Theta or Delta range of frequencies, DO NOT operate any type of vehicle or other mode of transportation, or heavy equipment!  If you suffer from epilepsy, do not listen to binaural beats before consulting with your doctor.
