Transitioning Into The New Year

It only takes being in December for some of us to ask ourselves: where did the year go? More often than not and irrespective of events, when we reach the end of the year and look back, our perception of time makes us feel that it went far too quickly.

Add to that, it’s a period which, for many people, is busier than usual with organisation of all sorts, including preparing for Christmas, kids on holidays, etc. The long and short of it is that we rarely give ourselves the time to slow down, regroup and take stock of the twelve months that we’ve just been through.

I truly believe that it can be valuable for anyone to spend the time reviewing the learnings we’ve had during a year. There is so much more that takes place than we realise or remember. When we bring consciousness to it, we can take the gems with us and allow ourselves to leave behind what we need to, and so enter the next chapter in a stronger and more empowered way. We’re able to identify the resources we have or have lacked and the ones that we may need in the future. We also gain clarity about what we want, what our aspirations are and where we need to take action.

As part of my own personal process, every year I do an extensive review of the year that’s ending. Over time, the process has become more refined and meatier dare I say. But more than anything, it’s been really helpful and supportive, which is why I have stuck with it for the last five years and finally decided to structure it into a shareable format. I created an online workshop in the hope that it can help as many people as possible. There is absolutely nothing in the content that I don’t do myself. This is important to underline because we live in a world which seemingly promotes authenticity and I am proud and confident to say that this workshop is genuine.

The workshop itself is self-led which means it can be done at your own pace and in your own time. It contains lots of exercises, inventories and practices. The cornerstone is a 30-min guided healing meditation which brings it all together. As a holistic therapist and energy medicine practitioner with more than 10 years’ experience, it was important for me to have an approach and a proposition which is balanced and also includes energy work as well as some spiritual notions (for those who are open to it). My intention was to keep the course concise and clear so each section is short and precise and free from nebulous concepts.

Knowledge is a resource which grows & expands if we share it.

It’s a privilege to have it. It’s a duty of care to pass it on. Imagine that by reviewing your year and preparing yourself to transition into the new one with renewed energy, the same is taking place: you’re transmitting and sharing with yourself your own acquired knowledge.

There is something beautiful about being aware and embracing your own resourcefulness and richness.

I wish you to know this about yourself & to have a wonderful New Year.
