Meet KATIEANNE DUNCAN-BRUCE, a seasoned creative spirit with a BA(Hons) in Dance and a Live Events Diploma. Her global journey has seen her wear multiple hats – dancer, choreographer, teacher – and delve into production and management. Notably, Clarke Quay in Singapore holds a special place in her heart as the Entertainment Capital.

Proudest Chapter: The proudest chapter unfolded with the arrival of Katie's identical twin boys. Challenges of carrying twins tested her physical and mental strength, marked by a C-Section and two additional abdominal surgeries, including a painful full muscle repair for Diastasis Recti. Amidst this journey, she discovered the isolation due to the lack of pre and postnatal exercise options.

Transformation into a Specialist Women’s Yoga Teacher: This struggle fuelled Katie's transformation into a 300HR Specialist Women’s Yoga Teacher. 'Yogabellies Moray with Katie' was born in January 2022, dedicated to guiding women through pregnancy, postnatal stages, motherhood, fertility, and menopause, both locally in Moray and online.

Accolades and Achievements: Katie reached a pinnacle with a notable achievement – named the Pre/Post Natal Trainer of the Year 2023 at the Scottish Health & Fitness Awards. Evolving her business, she broadened its horizons by curating distinctive events and workshops, giving rise to the inception of KDB Energy®. This expansion was driven by an awareness of the widespread demand for stress reduction, invigoration, and relaxation, catering to various institutions such as the NHS, well-known charities, schools, and universities.

Current Role: Today, while building her business, she proudly serves as a Les Mills instructor in the local community and a Senior Yogabellies Teacher, contributing globally by training other Yogabellies teachers. This role enables her to share expertise and passion for holistic well-being and specialist women’s yoga on a broader scale.

The Visionary behind KDB Energy®: Leveraging her versatile background and drawing from diverse expertise in yoga, fitness, dance, choreography, and mindfulness, Katie goes beyond traditional boundaries. She orchestrates unique events, workshops, and diverse programmes, showcasing an innovative and holistic approach. Her coaching proficiency spans a wide spectrum, from guiding children and professionals to supporting postnatal women. Katie's expanded offerings encompass online courses and personalised 1-2-1 coaching, addressing various needs, from pregnancy and fertility to working with professional performers and collaborating on stage productions. Stress reduction, energising, and uplifting form the consistent threads intricately woven into all her transformative offerings. Guided by her principles of Kindness, Drive, and Balance, Katie creates experiences that truly stand out.
