Word of the Year

I love this exercise! It gives me total clarity on what I want my year to be based around. It doesn’t mean that everything always works out but gives me clarity on decisions that might otherwise just be made sporadically. One year I chose “enchanted”.

I wanted to have a magical year & so all decisions were based on this.

I also chose “inspirational” and again this had a similar effect on what I wanted to achieve this year.

None of these have to be set in stone, in fact maybe half way through the year you feel it’s changed. That’s ok, there are no hard and fast rules based on this methodology.

What it allows is time to consciously decide how you want to spend your time and life! So think about the bigger picture, take yourself to next December and consider what you want your life to be filled with or surrounded by.

Have fun!
